Newtown Pippin Apple (Malus domestica 'Newtown Pippin') Scionwood
The Newtown Pippin is a mid-season apple that is slightly tart but is still a great eating apple. It is also great for cooking and including in cider. It is an old American cultivar that was common in colonial times. It is generally green with some russeting at the top of the apple.
