In this video we show how we propagate dormant fig cuttings with an 85% to 90% success rate. Every winter, we do a propagation test against our stored cuttings. The process we show here uses cuttings that have been in cold storage for 46 days plus an additional seven days to simulate shipping for a total of 53 days between harvest and the start of propagation.
