USDA Pomological Collection Spiral Notebooks

The Painting:  This is based on a watercolor from the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection. These were used to document fruit and nut varieties in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Lithographs of these watercolor paintings were created to illustrate USDA bulletins, yearbooks, and other publications distributed to growers and gardeners across America. Painted imperfections depicted by the artist, such as scab and rot, have been maintained from the original. The image used here may have been cropped as well as edited to remove signs of age such as specks, mold, and paper stains.

The Spiral Notebook: These are 5.5″ × 8.5″ (13 × 21 cm) 140 page dotted (not lined) notebooks with metal wire-o binding. The covers have soft-touch coating and weight 10.38 oz/yd² (352 g/m²) and thickness 0.375″ (0.95 cm). The page weight is 2.62 oz/yd² (89 g/m²). The notebook is sourced and cover printed in the United States.
