Deborah Passmore Wildflower Collection 8x10 Unframed Posters

The Painting:  Deborah Griscom Passmore (1840-1911) was a botanical artist employed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for nineteen years. These wildflower watercolors come from an unpublished volume entitled Flowers in Water Color: Wildflowers of America that she created outside the scope of her work with USDA. They were labeled with their subject's scientific name by Edward Lee Greene (1843-1915). Painted imperfections depicted by the artist, such as scab and rot, have been maintained from the original. The image used here has been cropped and in some cases signatures moved. Signs of age on the paper background such as specks, mold, and paper stains have been removed.

The Poster:  These are museum-quality posters made on thick and durable matte paper.  The posters have the following characteristics: Paper thickness: 10.3 mil, Paper weight: 5.57 oz/y² (189 g/m²), Giclée printing quality, Opacity: 94%.  The posters are rolled up and shipped in a cardboard tube.
